So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.  Genesis 1:27  (Full context: Genesis 1 & 2)

Nothing would be here if God did not show up...

The beauty of the sunrise, the creativity of four seasons, the uniqueness of all the animals, fish and birds, the uncountable stars and planets, the height of the mountains, the reflections off the 10,000 lakes, the reality of you would not exist if God did not show up.

In the beginning, God created...

God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.
 Genesis 1:27

The warmth of the sun on your face, the delicate snowflake that lands on your eye lash, the smile of a cherished friend, the stabling hug of a loved one, all because God showed up.

The longing to be known and to know, to be loved and to love, to be served and to serve, to be celebrated and to celebrate, all because God showed up.

The inquisitive mind wondering why, being spiritually curious, asking questions about who are we, why are we here, what is the purpose of our existence, all because God showed up.

This Christmas, let's look for God showing up in our lives, in our circumstances, in our relationships and in our risks. He is here. He loves to surprise us. What will we see?

Looking together,
Pastor Chris
