![]() “(Peter, Andrew) Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” Mt 4:19 Jesus told him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.” Mt 8:22 As Jesus went on from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collector’s booth. “Follow me.” Mt 9:9 “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me." Mt 16:24 “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” Mt 19:21 Finding Philip, he said to him, “Follow me.” Jn 1:43 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” Jn 8:12 “If I want him to remain alive until I return, what is that to you? You must follow me.” Jn 21:22 Why did Jesus invite people to follow Him? For God so loved the world... God does not want anyone to perish... "In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish." Mt 18:14 "You do not realize that it is better for you that one man die for the people than that the whole nation perish." Jn 11:50 "God is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." 2 Ptr 3:9 Christianity is an "INVITATION DEPENDANT FAITH." Who have you invited lately?
