![]() What inspires you? How do you get inspired? Where do you go, who do you connect with and what experiences do you seek in order to be inspired? Our summer memory verse is an inspirational and alive connection with God. Ps 27:4 One thing that I ask of the Lord, this only do I seek, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His temple. How does this living and active passage inspire you? When the Psalmists asks about one thing, why does it seem he is asking three things? What does it mean "to dwell in the house of the Lord?" What is the Old Testament understanding and New Testament understanding? Take time to contemplate the word "dwell." How are you dwelling these days? How is dwelling giving you life, giving you inspiration? What does it mean "to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord?" What beauty of Jesus have you been stunned by recently? What beauty of Jesus did you see yesterday? What beauty of Jesus do you hope to see today? How is gazing upon the beauty of God inspiring you? What does it mean "to seek Him in His temple?" What drives your seeking each and every day? What are you seeking? Your own plans and desires? Your employer's plans and desires? Our culture's plans and desires? Jesus' plans and desires? How is seeking Jesus inspiring you? To dwell with... To gaze upon... To seek... Three powerful inspiring experiencing. Are you taking the time to let this living and active passage inspire you?
